“Come up…I will show you” #Keepingfaith

Hello friends, I trust that you are well. I am so excited about what I’m sharing with you today. It is a word in season that will bless you.

I know the book of revelation is one book that doesn’t excite a lot of people for various reasons. This was also true for me until very recently. With the help of the holy spirit, I was able to glean some amazing truths that we can apply to our lives today. Please follow closely.

So John the beloved was serving time on an island when he heard a voice telling him to write promptly what he sees and send it to the seven churches…Of course he turned and “SAW” and wrote and wrote and wrote things that would benefit the seven churches. Note: he had seen and written and was still writing what he was seeing when a voice said to him again in chapter 4:1: “Come up here, and I will show you what must take place in the future”

At this point, I began to wonder…but John was already in a vision, he was already seeing plenty things and writing, just continue showing him the vision now, why the pause just to tell him to come up and you will show him?

And then I realised that there are visions and there are “VISIONS”.

God had been showing him things, but there was a certain depth of revelation that couldn’t just be seen just like that. There had to be a “coming up”, a separation, a consecration to see those deeper things.

So like I keep saying, there are depths in God, deeper realms to touch, secret things to be revealed about your future and God’s plans, but you cannot access these things until there’s a “coming up”. You can’t remain on the same level as every other person, act, think and reside on the same plane and expect to access these deeper things.

There are deep things that God wants to show you concerning your life, purpose and the future. Remember “eyes hath not seen, ears have not heard neither has it entered into the heart of man, the things God has prepared for you…” But since the Spirit of God knows these things and the same spirit of God dwells in us, we have access to knowing them, but “Come up and I’ll show you”.

Friend, it’s a communion of spirits, an unveiling of faces, a beholding as in a glass, an inward knowing, intimacy, koinonia that will make you see deeper.

Let us even examine our friendships, there are friends that just know us, but there are the others that “really know” us. These ones that really know us have access to certain information about our lives. They have seen things that many people don’t ordinarily see, some know our dreams, plans and aspirations, they are the ones that have “come up”, therefore they have seen deeper.

So it is with God, come up and I’ll show you that which is to happen in the future. We must never be complacent with the things we think we know presently, the depths we think we have reached in God. There are deeper things that require consecration, separating ourselves to him. Even John got his vision when he was in solitude, away from people and all the attention-grabbing things.

In this age, it must be an intentional decision to set time aside to just be alone with God, only then can we really see deeper.

Lol
Some people may be like, err me I’m not John o. He was special that is why He saw…biko does he have two heads? If John could see, why can’t I? Charley, wake up and go deeper.

I’ll end here for today and I know you have been blessed. Don’t hesitate to share with someone.

Now is a good time to listen to my spoken word piece “soldiers” which basically talks about going deeper with God. Be blessed. See you next week.
